Heidi Grace "HG SW" Sparkle paper, Offray Grosgrain Ribbon, Heart Brad from stash, Marvy 1" Daisy Punch

This is a bag to hold my mother-in-laws Mothers Day gift. I had a ton of trouble with this thing! Didn't score it right, didn't cut it right, and to top it off my circle punch broke (ugh!) and tore my paper. It's so not worthy of these challenges but it's ok to give her with some clever fixes so it'll have to do ... Oh and ignore the messy kitchen and hubby arm, after all the mess ups it doesn't stand on it's own :(

My first attempt at glass etching and I am very happy with the results. I used the fleur de lis from the Gypsy Wanderings Cricut Cartridge and cut it on some scraps of Vinyl. They are making baskets with wine to raffle off so I added a tag they can use in there too. The tag is on kraft cardstock with my negative from my etching used as a mask. Vintage Photo distress inked, removed mask, stamped a script letter border background from Hampton Art using Timber Brown StazOn. Then added some Martha Stewart ribbon, Wedding Leaves in Walnut & Muscari Blue.

Cards cards cards

Thursday, March 10, 2011

Trying to re-organize my craft area and I have been making some cards on my sons little play table. It is comical to say the least, me sitting there in the tiny chair at the tiny table with stamps, inks, embossing powders, my extension cord, you get the idea. Anyway, I should be in bed since I work a double tomorrow, so no time to list ingredients. These are some cards made in the last few days.

For Operation Write Home:

My sister's second card ever, embossing!?! I think she's getting hooked! Hehe

For my other amazing sister who, after many hardships, got her highschool diploma in the mail today, yay!! So proud of her!! (This was hard for me as she is so not a "girly girl".)
